Oral antiviral treatments

These medications target specific parts of the COVID-19 virus and can help reduce its multiplication and spread through the body. The FDA has authorized several oral antiviral medications for patients who have mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 and are not in the hospital.

To be eligible for these prescription drugs you must have tested positive for COVID-19 and meet age and weight requirements.

If you are interested in any of these treatments consult your doctor about what is best for you.

Therapeutics Locator

The U.S Department of Health and Human Services has a therapeutics locator tool which displays locations around the state where antiviral treatments are available with a physician’s prescription. The therapeutics locator is intended for provider use. Patients should not contact locations directly unless instructed to do so by their healthcare provider.
