This is a critical time for controlling the spread of COVID-19 in Hawai‘i. By staying home, limiting our exposure to others, and only going out for our most essential needs, we can save lives and reduce hospitalizations that could overwhelm our healthcare system.

Hawai‘i COVID-19 Cases

On 8/4/2020, the Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 144 new positive cases. Five of the cases are on Hawai‘i Island and 139 cases are on O‘ahu for a cumulative total of 2,591 cases statewide (reported since 2/28/2020). A previous case was removed due to updated laboratory information.

A total of 132,526 individuals have been tested in the state.
