Hawai‘i Department of Health updates quarantine guidance based on review of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s new recommendations

HONOLULU – The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) announced that effective today it is reducing the required quarantine period of those who have been exposed to COVID-19 from 14 days to 10 days to improve compliance without significantly increasing the risk of transmission in the community. The updated quarantine guidance is based on updated recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) earlier this week.
